The Würth Group is a world market leader in assembly and fastening materials. It currently consists of over 400 companies in more than 80 countries and has over 73,000 employees - 32,000 of these are permanently employed sales representatives. Here in Ireland, Würth employ’s 100 sales people, selling consumables into the Wood, Construction, Automotive and Metal industries with over 15,000 products in our range and access to a further 100,000 from our HQ in Germany. We also have 50 employees based in our head office in Limerick.

We are now looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive to help us enhance and develop our in-house support team. The role will be based in our head office on the Ballysimon Road in Limerick. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and optimisation of our online marketing efforts looking to increase brand awareness and drive online sales for the company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Setting up, implementing and reporting on social media and communication campaigns that should align with overall marketing strategies.
  • Manage social campaigns end-to-end, including planning, targeting, content creation, execution and reporting of the campaigns.
  • Inter-departmental co-ordination of campaign activity to ensure a consistent and integrated brand experience across all touch points.
  • Developing our evolving social strategy so that we are getting the right message in front of the right customer at the right time.
  • Staying current with best practices, strategies, and industry regulations related to social media and content creation.
  • Social channel community management- ensure all customer queries are resolved in a timely manner in line with company policy.
  • Work alongside product team and other stakeholders to create engaging written, graphic and video content with SEO best practise in mind for our websites, blogs and articles and so on.
  • Able to assist in the maintenance of website content ensuring all content is up to date and relevant.
  • Various related duties and tasks as assigned.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Digital marketing qualification or equivalent preferred but not essential.
  • Experience across multiple Social platforms and usage of scheduling tools and social analytics tools.
  • Previous experience with CMS platforms is essential.
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge ideally.
  • Proven track record in a similar role – preferably 1-2 years of experience in the digital industry.
  • Strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills.
  • A passion for creating and maintaining quality content.
  • Video editing experience and Photoshop experience preferable but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines and multi-task.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
